West Hollywood Art Fesstival Summer Art Camp 2010 - Activities Schedule
June - August 2010
Our commitment for this Summer Art Camp 2010 is to provide your child with the most fun and productive time.

Every week we will focus on a main art activity, such as sculpture, craft, papier mache, etc. Every day we will have drawing and painting lessons. Art history lessons will inntroduce your child to the fascinating Art world, learning about different techniques and artists.

Academics such as English and Math lessons will be also part of our curriculum, to prepare your child for the upcoming academic year.

Like previous years, we will also have Russian lesson, as well as chess and many hours of fun.

  • - Sculpture Week
    Basics with play dough and plastiline
    Salt dough
    Clay
    Pottery
  • Museum Visit: Skirball Cultural Center
  • Drawing and Painting lessons everyday
  • Art History: Michelangelo, History of Sculpture. Master of Sculpture. Sculpture around the World.

Week 2 June 28 - July 2


  • - Nature Art Week
    Arts and crafts made with found object in nature such as rocks, leaves, shells, twigs, etc.
    Frames, Jewelry Box, Rock Painting, Twig Furniture.

  • Art history: Renaissance Art, Realism, landscape.
